I was ecstatic to learn that I was awarded the Gold in the Advertising category of the Prix De La Photographie Paris [PX3] 2018 Competition for my entry entitled ‘Journey’. I am honored, humbled and blessed by this win over thousands of entries from over 85 countries.
‘Journey’, a series of street photography captured in Japan for my very first solo exhibition; ‘Urban Rhapsody the Japan Series 2017’. It was a collaboration with Leica Camera Malaysia, Isetan The Japan Store Kuala Lumpur and Epson. These images were immortalized using the Lecia M262 and Leica Q. Four of the five images of ‘Journey’ were displayed at this exhibition.
